General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) is a medium-hub airport owned and operated by Milwaukee County. Mitchell's 14 airlines offer roughly 220 daily departures (plus 220 daily arrivals). Approximately 90 cities are served nonstop or direct from Mitchell International. It is the largest airport in Wisconsin.

The airport is located off its own junction 8km (5 miles) south of Milwaukee and 112km (70 miles) north of Chicago, on exit 119 off I-94. From Chicago, take I-94 north to the airport exit.
