Dulles International Airport facilities. Money and communications: ATMs
and bureau de change facilities are available. Stamp vending machines
and post boxes are located throughout the airport. Hotel telephone
centres are located on the lower level of the main terminal in the
ground transportation centres. Eating and drinking: A wide
variety of bars, restaurants and cafés are available on all
concourses. Shopping: A wide variety of retail outlets are
available on all concourses. There are various shops, including a
shoeshine, newsagents, duty-free shop, gift shop, sweet shop, leather
goods shop, music shop, sunglasses shop and jewellers. Luggage: Left
luggage lockers are not currently available. Luggage trolleys are
available for use throughout the airport.
The international visitors information desk (tel: 703 572 2536 or
572 2537) is on the baggage reclaim (lower) level. Travelers' Aid services
(tel: 703 572 8296) are available at the information counter, which is
also located on the baggage reclaim level. Travelers' Aid ambassadors
are can be found on councourses B, C and D.
Directions
to IAD. : From central Washington DC,
go west on I-66 to exit 67, follow signs to the airport, approximately
26km (16 miles) from exit 67. From Baltimore, go south on I-95 to exit
27 (I-495 West - the Beltway) to exit 12B, follow signs to the
airport, approximately 21km (13 miles) from exit 12B. From Richmond,
go north on I-95 to exit 170 (I-495 – "The Beltway") to
exit 12B, follow signs to the airport, approximately 21km (13 miles)
from exit 12B. From West Virginia, go south on I-81 to I-66 East to
exit 53 (Route 28 North), then follow Route 28 to airport. From
Roanoke, Southwest Virginia, go north on I-81 to I-66 East, follow
I-66 East to exit 53 (Route 28 North), then follow Route 28 to
airport.
